Coleman Dixon Family Reunion 2009

1.      On Friday, August 14, 2009 at 7:00 PM at The Lexington Hotel in Romulus, Michigan in the Professional Conference Room, we will be having our “Get Acquainted” event were you can reconnect with family members you haven’t seen in a while.  You can register and pick up your T-shirts if you have ordered them.  Light refreshments will be served.  We will have a short program and business meeting. 

2.      The picnic is on Saturday August 15, 2009 at 11:00 AM and will take place at Lower Huron Metro Park in Belleville, MI at the Hawthorne Glade picnic shelter.  We will have a catered picnic lunch at 12:00 PM.  Lower Huron Metro Park has activities such as the Turtle Cove Water Park, Biking, Canoeing, Golf, Fishing, Basketball and Tennis Courts.  There is a $4 per car entrance fee to get into the park. 

      After 5:00 PM is free time in which your are free to explore the Detroit area.  Please see our Detroit Area Attractions page for ideas.

3.  On Sunday, August 16, 2009.  If you are interested in attending church services, please contact the relative of your choice. 

      Also for those who will be staying throughout Sunday, can use this for additional free time to explore the Detroit area or visit with local relatives.
